  4. Welcome to the AGA software compilation Disk Four.
  5.

  8. All programs will work on AGA/KS3.0 equiped Amigas, some will work with
  9. ECS/KS3.0, ECS/KS2.04 or (even!) OCS/KS1.3 Amigas.
  10.  
  11. All doc files have icons but not all programs were supplied with icons
  12. so I did not add any.  More (the standard text reader) must be in
  13. the WorkBench Path to view the docs (ie if you are reading this then
  14. it probably is!).  More is found in the SYS:Utilities drawer.
  15. AmigaGuide documents have their tooltype set to MultiView.  If you
  16. only have KS2.04/2.1 it will need to be changed to AmigaGuide (after you 
  17. install it of course!).

  19. The "*** Requires:" field outlines the MINIMUM requirements of Operating
  20. System Software and/or Amiga Hardware required.

  22. Also, this disk is formatted with the FastFileSystem.  Only KS2.04 or 
  23. greater supports FFS on floppys, so don't wonder why the disk is 
  24. unreadable on a KS1.3 or less system!

  33. AGA_Hardware_Guide
  34.         An AmigaGuide reference manual to all the new AGA features.
  35.         Includes hardware registers list.  Very comprehensive.
  36.  
  37. BigAnim  (v3.5)
  38.         An animation player that is able to play animations that are
  39.         too large to be loaded into memory directly.  Supports AGA.
  40.         Supports Anim types 5 & 7.
  41.           *** Requires: An Amiga.
  42.  
  43. BMP_DataType  (v39.3)
  44.         Allows Multiview and other DataType aware programs (such as
  45.         WBPattern) to read BMP graphics (ala Windoze 3.1). Source inc.
  46.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  47.  
  48. DOUBLEX:  (v1.00)
  49.         Promote all screens to a DBL equivalent, regardless of the type
  50.         of screen they request.
  51.           *** Requires: AGA.

  53. JPEG_DataType  (v39.1)
  54.         Allows Multiview and other DataType aware programs (such as
  55.         WBPattern) to read JPEG images.
  56.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  57.  
  58. MOSTRA  (v2.0/v37.12)
  59.         An IFF ILBM viewer that can process any IFF ILBM file, including
  60.         nested types.  Also PCHG support.  AGA support.  Localisation etc.
  61.           *** Requires: KS2.04.

  63. PKLUDGE:  (v1.0)
  64.         Promotes any graphics mode or named screen to any other resolution
  65.         optionally setting size and position.
  66.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  67.  
  68. PPrefs (v1.1)
  69.         A Screen Promotion Utility.  For those who like the GUI of
  70.         ForceMonitor but need more flexibility.
  71.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or greater.

  73. ProcurePens (v1.00)
  74.         Locks and/or Procures palette pens under v39 graphics.library.
  75.           *** Requires: KS3.0 or greater.
  76.  
  77. QuickGrab  (v1.1)
  78.         A screen grabber that works with 2.0/3.0 and AGA graphics modes.
  79.           *** Requires: KS2.04 
  80.  
  81. Reset1200 (v1.0b)
  82.         An fix to the CPU's RESET instruction which stops the
  83.         authors Hard Disk from being recognised upon next boot up.
  84.           *** Requires: Amiga 1200(?)

  86. RunShit  (v1.03)
  87.         Similar to programs like RUNBACK except turns off AGA to allow
  88.         some badly written programs to work on the A1200 or 4000.
  89.           *** Requires: AGA.

  91. Speed Ramsey (v1.2a)
  92.         Removes a wait-state from RAM on the A4000 if you have 60ns
  93.         or faster RAM installed.  May work with 70ns.  All A4000's
  94.         as shipped have 80ns.  Speeds RAM access by up to 15%.
  95.           *** Requires: A4000 with Rev.G Ramsey chip.
  96.  
  97. TPD (Tron's PCX DataType)  (v39.1)
  98.         Allows Multiview and other DataType aware programs (such as
  99.         WBPattern) to read PCX graphics (ala PC & compats).
  100.         An alternative to the one on Disk Three. 
  101.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  102.  
  103. Window_Blender  (v39.28)
  104.         An interesting piece of mind-candy!  Opens a window, fills it
  105.         with a mapping using a given formula, and cycles the colors
  106.         using the given cycling method.  Quite psychedelic!
  107.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  108.  
  109. WBVERLAUF:  (v2.0)
  110.         Creates background copper lists on the WorkBench screen.
  111.           *** Requires: AGA Chip Set.
  112.  
  113. ZGif_Datatype  (v39.7)
  114.         A replacement for the other GIF datatypes around (see Disk One)
  115.         The main improvement is speed, being at least twice as fast as
  116.         the others.
  117.           *** Requires: KS3.0, 68020+.
